Pavilion 23xi
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have 2 Pavilion 23xi monitors.  One of them will turn off after a short time on, sometimes a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes.  I turn the power button on and it will come on, but themn keeps going off.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Are you getting an error message about No Signal, Signal out of Range, Sleep, or Power Save?

Use the following steps to see if the monitor can display:

  1. Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:

    1. Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.

    2. Unplug the power cord.

    3. Wait 5 seconds.

    4. Plug in the power cord.

    5. Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor.

  2.  Check all of the following items before attempting to service or replace the monitor:

    • Make sure the power outlet has power and the power outlet matches the power rating for the monitor.

    • Connect the different power outlet.

    • Try a different power cord.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

There are no errors messages.  I have done everyting listed in your message.  It is not the power cord.  The power button is still going off randomly.
