Monitor not powering on

My monitor all of a sudden will not turn on its getting power but not switching on. Help I hope its not pooched

Unfortunately, with external monitors, there's no way to run built-in hardware diagnostics to check the monitor and without a working display, open-source diagnostics will not work, either.

Your only real option  would be to take the monitor to an HP service facility to see if they can check it out.

I've found those links to be unreliable if you're using Win10 and the new Edge Browser; so if you are, you need to use something else, like FireFox.
