Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. 

I have my monitor connected to the hdmi ports but the monitor is saying that lm connected to the display port. 

When the pc is powered on, l have to manually switch the input signal on my monitor for the display to work. If l select Hdmi input on the monitor the screen goes black.

Also, when l power my pc on/off the monitor will not automatically switch on and to the correct input. 

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.
