I have three HP Series 7 Pro 27 inch 4K Thunderbolt 4 Monitor monitors connected to my computer via Thunderbolt 4. The connection works perfectly. The problem I have are after power outages where my monitors become unresponsive if they where turned on when the outage happened.

After the power get backs on, the monitors boots up and the power indicators shines white. The computer charges and can access all USB ports of the monitor but the monitor is black. No buttons work, the monitors can not be switched off or on via the power button and the menu button at the back does not work either.

The only way to get the monitors up and running again is to hold the "OK" button at the back pressed while plugging the monitor into the power outlet. Then it enters a color flashing mode and from there it's possible to do a factory reset.

Does any one else have these problems and how can I avoid having to factory reset my monitors?
