Hi @dilipdas,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "On-Screen Menu Locked" message on an HP Slim Desktop PC S01 monitor typically indicates that the settings menu on the monitor is locked to prevent unauthorized changes. This can be useful to avoid accidental or unauthorized adjustments to the monitor settings.

To unlock the on-screen menu, follow these steps:

  • Power Off the Monitor: Make sure the monitor is powered off.
  • Access the Menu Button: On most monitors, there are buttons located on the front or side that allow you to navigate through the on-screen menus. Look for a button that is labeled "Menu" or something similar.
  • Press and Hold the Menu Button: Press and hold the "Menu" button for about 10-15 seconds. This should unlock the on-screen menu.
  • Check the Menu: After releasing the "Menu" button, power on the monitor and see if the on-screen menu is now accessible. You should be able to navigate through the settings and make adjustments as needed.

If the above steps don't work, or if you're still having issues accessing the on-screen menu even after unlocking it, consider the following additional troubleshooting steps:

  • Check the User Manual: Refer to the user manual of your HP Slim Desktop PC S01 monitor. It might provide specific instructions on how to unlock the menu and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Power Cycle: Completely power off both the monitor and the desktop PC. Unplug the monitor's power cord, wait for a minute or two, and then plug it back in. Power on the monitor and see if the issue is resolved.
  • Reset to Factory Defaults: Some monitors have a reset option that allows you to restore all settings to their factory defaults. Look for this option in the menu settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
