Hello All,
I have a T420 HP thinclient. It's a Thinpro 7.0 based OS (it looks to be an Ubuntu like OS)
It starts in graphical mode, with some available default connections (freeRDP, Citrix,..), the taskbar and the mouse cursor.
We can switch to the Admin mode by right clicking or from the menu. This way, we access customisation menus, and so forth.
My goal is:
1- Hide the mouse cursor while the ThinClient is started in the default session
2- With a keyboard shortcut (crtl + alt + "any other keyboard key"), show the mouse cursor for accessing the Admin mode and various Admin tools.
As a result:
1- Normal start up: No mouse cursor
2- Keyboard shortcut: Switch to Admin mode with the mouse cursor available.
I've tried many tricks but none of them worked for me. I'm not experienced in Linux OS (really not).
I've tried to identify witch display manager is used, what processes are launched at start up. I AM LOST...
I found hptc-dm ... Is it the display manager? If so, how to modify it to hide the mouse cursor in one session, not in the other?
Many thanks for any help.
