elitebook 2570p
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have the elitebook 2570p  . It has VGA and DP++. The processor i5/3340m can drive 3 monitors, but the chipset QM77 is said only 2, in spite of there are some boards based on it that advertise 3 external monitors. I have an elitedisplay 231 http://www.hp.com/united-states/campaigns/elite-products/assets/elitedisplay_e231.pdf with VGA, DVID-D and DP and a HP ZR2740w https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c02974836 with DVI and DP. I have tried to run a three monitors setup without success. Only two monitors, the notebook built-in and one of the other two can be made work together. I don't know if the notebook DP++ is MST or multi streaming and can be used to run the two external displays with something like https://www.newegg.com/startech-mstdp123dp-n-a/p/N82E16815158403 the Startech multi monitor splitter. Can you advise me what to do?
