Product: HP 25es monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My monitor is only showing snow. It blinks on and off when it's turned on, every 3-5 seconds. I have tried unplugging everything and plugging it back in. It's plugged into a Microsoft Surface docking station. I have also tried sending video to it through a video cable.

On the right/bottom of the monitor, the 4th button from the left is the Source button.

Press it once or twice and see if the screen shows your computer.

 

If you are using two monitors you can press the Windows key+A key to open the Action Center, and tap Project tab to bring up monitor options.
