I'm trying to connect a second monitor to my computer (HP ProDisplay P201) and the computer can't detect the second monitor. I used an HDMI to VGA cord. I connected the HDMI to the OUT HDMI port and the VGA to the second monitor. When i clicked display it says the monitor can't be detected. I fixed the resolution and HZ based on what I read online and restarted the computer, but it didn't work. I also checked for updates on the graphic driver but it said I was using the most recent. Next, I followed directions online to uninstall the graphic driver and reinstall it, but that didn't work either. I can't rollback the graphic driver because it's grayed out and not clickable. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong so the computer recognizes the second monitor? The cursor moves from screen to screen, but I can't open any new pages on the second monitor. HELP!!
