I'm using the latest driver that is available for the monitor. The one written for Win/10. There is no Win/11 driver. I hardly ever used the touch screen, so the loss of that function is annoying but not that concerning.
The fact that I have to turn the monitor OFF and ON every time I leave the room for a few minutes is not good for the monitor or my attitude. The monitor works well, but it needs a proper driver for Win/11 to function in the most basic of ways, like keeping track of when the display is supposed to be displaying something and when it can idle.

Hi @br-tech-guy ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing compatibility issues with your HP Pavilion 23TM monitor and Windows 11. Since there isn't a specific Windows 11 driver available for your monitor, you might need to try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
- Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes, updating your graphics drivers can improve compatibility with the operating system and connected peripherals. Software and Drivers for HP Pavilion 23tm 23-inch Diagonal Touch Monitor
- Check Power Settings: Make sure that your power settings are configured properly. Sometimes, monitors can have issues waking up from sleep mode if power-saving settings are too aggressive. Adjusting these settings may help.
- BIOS Update: Check if there's a BIOS update available for your computer. Sometimes, BIOS updates can improve compatibility with new operating systems and peripherals.
- Compatibility Mode: You can try running the monitor driver installer in compatibility mode for Windows 10. Right-click on the installer, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select Windows 10 from the dropdown menu.
- Monitor Firmware Update: Check if there's a firmware update available for your monitor. Sometimes, firmware updates can address compatibility issues and improve overall performance.
