HP Pavilion All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 11

Okay so, I have had a monitor for awhile now and its hooked up to my HP Pavilion with a HDMI. The screen that's on my HP Pavilion is now on my monitor and my monitor screen in now on my HP Pavilion, so basically the screens swapped by themselves and I have tried everything to get them back to normal but nothing will work and I really want to keep the monitor but I want my HP Pavilion to be my main screen and stay that way.  Also before the screens switched my HP went black with a message saying "check HDMI in cable"..... Someone please help?!?

@Ambrosiaa -- with the right-side mouse-button, click anywhere on the Windows "wallpaper".

Choose "Screen Resolution".

Click "Identify" to have a big "1" appear on your #1 monitor, and a big "2" appear on your #2 monitor.

On this screen, you can switch to indicate which monitor is to be your "primary" monitor.

Also, try holding-down the "Windows" key (bottom-left of your keyboard) and tapping the "P" key. Does it show an option to "duplicate" and an option to "extend" the Windows screen across the 2 monitors?
