Microsoft Windows 11

My touchscreen has begun moving on its own, and I cannot move my cursor with either my touchpad or mouse since it consistently taps at the bottom right corner of the screen.

I have updated my drivers and restarted the laptop, cleaned it all around too but to no avail. I am thinking though, could it be my battery. It's been dying for a while and I haven't replaced it. Could this be a reason for my touchscreen playing up?
