Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My desktop's mouse stops moving periodically, probably 3 times a day on average. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to make it start working again. I've tried a different mouse, same thing.  This system wants my serial number to ID my PC but I can't find one. HP is such a difficult system to troubleshoot and I doubt this will help. I've been suffering from this issue for years without being able to get any answers or support for it. Same with my HP printer. Never buying HP anything again, it's garbage.
