macOS Big Sur Version 11.2.3

I am using an HP 27F display monitor with a Mac mini and MacOS Big Sur Version 11.2.3.

The screen was purchased YESTERDAY! Not impressed!!

The display screen color is fine until the display wakes up from a sleep.  When the display awakes from a sleep the screen color is all green.  In order to get the correct color on the screen, the display must be turned off and turned back on or the HDMI cable disconnected and reconnected.
This is very frustrating.
Do I really have to return the unit or is there a simple setting that corrects this????
Thanks
Lion

Hello
if you have this problem with two different computers, not a good sign
that said, I am not a Mac user.
If you can try with another computer running Windows, and the problem remains the same, do not hesitate to return to the seller.
