Hi,
I have a HP LAPTOP on 64bit Windows 10, version 1809 (Build 17763.1039).
with nVidia card GeForce 820M. I try to install the lastest nVidia driver 425.31 64bit version .

but installer stops with this message:
nvidia installer cannot continue
This Standard NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
This NVIDIA graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.

pl advise. thanks

Hello,

Please download and install the latest version of the graphics card driver from the NVIDIA website below.

https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/145874/en-us

If this does not solve the problem, please use the NVIDIA GeForce Experience to download and install the latest version of the graphics card driver.

Do not hesitate to contact us in case of need.

Hi Mans,

 

I went to https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/145874/en-us to download the latest driver and  again installer stops with this message:

 

nvidia installer cannot continue
This Standard NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows.
This NVIDIA graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.
 
 
 
then i managed to download and install Geforce experience from NVIDIA GeForce Experience, but when i select update driver, there is an error message:
 
unable to download recommended driver
 

any idea what's going on?. thanks
