Hi
I have HP Pavilion All In One 24CA001. I need to extend to 2 additional monitors (in addition to the PC monitor) (not mirror) but it only has one HDMI OUT and I understand the SS USBC doesn't support video.
Would purchasing an HDMI splitter achieve this ? Or would it simply add a mirrored second display ? I don't want to purchase if it wont work ! Alternatively, is there something I can plug into my monitor which would make it Wi-Fi enabled and so I could connect to it by Wi-Fi ? I tried a Chromecast but that didn't work and I think the Windows Miracast would only...mirror !
Anyone know ?
Thank you
🙂

HDMI 1.4 does not support daisy chaining monitors
Use the HDMI to connect your second display and obtain a wireless display adapter for the 3rd display
I recommend a 2k wireless adapter and assume Micro$oft still sells one.
Alternately a laptop can be substituted for the 3rd monitor by having the computer project onto laptop
The below link gives instructions on adding a laptop to desktop or vice-versa using Wi-Fi

HDMI splitters won't give you extended option. You can use DisplayLink Certified USB to HDMI out port to connect such as

HIya,
Thanks for the advice - I purchased a USB to VGA display adaptor - plugged in and worked straight away. I was already using my HDMI port for screen 2, so used the USBA SS port for the adaptor. Job done !
Thank you 🙂

Could you give the model of the USB to VGA?
Did you post a review at the site you obtained it?
I am curious if it supports HD or QHD.
Does it have any lag? Wi-Fi adapters generally have so much lag that even card games such as solitaire seem slow.
