HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have purchased 40 HP 290 G3 PCs for use in classrooms. These connect VGA to a monitor, and by HDMI to new interactive Promethean Acti Panel boards. (2nd monitor)

Frustratingly, the PC will lose the 2nd monitor display (Promethean board) sporadically through the day, and I have to go in and press Windows P to re-select the duplicate screen.

I have installed the latest Intel drivers, and the latest HP drivers, as well as firmware updating the Activ Board.

I have connected the HDMI cable to port 1 HDMI on the Activ Board

Power settings are set to never turn anything off.

In event viewer the only thing I can see of note is this warning

A pointer device has no information about the monitor it is attached to. Event 263 Win32k

The HDMI cable has been replaced also

Please help!
