Product: HP E24d G4 FHD USB-C Docking Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

New HP EliteDisplay E24d G4 23.8" Monitor webcam not working. Open camera app to error message;

 

I have just received a new HP E24D G4 and I have connected it, using HDMI cable, to my desktop machine and No way to have the webcam working, should I have to connect further USB cables other than HDMI to use the the webcam.

Please help

Yes I have seen this but its not helpful ,as that was the first thing i did when i got the monitor.

 

Please help as its really frustrating .

What more can I say, look at the documentation correctly, you must connect at least one USB cable, from the screen to the computer

I have tried connecting to hdmi and DisplayPort connector to my desktop still camera does not work,I have to connect external camera.
