New HP monitor shows vertical lines

Hi,

For Black Friday I ordered a new HP M27fq QHD Monitor

It's super amazing but as soon as I plugged it in I noted 3 vertical lines on the display.

This is super annoying because I bought this screen for editing and I cannot have lines on it.

What to do?

I tried to check the warranty but it doesn't recognize my serial number, which is strange, because I bought the monitor of the HP website.

@Clay-D -- every purchase from HP should give you a few days of free HP support, via telephone. Try it. Otherwise, since you did not purchase it from a bricks-and-mortar store, you must contact HP Support, to replace this defective unit.
