My desktop did an automatic BIOS update last Thursday 12. Next day when I turned on PC got no display. I have replaced keyboard, mouse and monitor with new ones thinking they may have been problem but still no display. Monitor says "no signal, going into power saving mode" then goes black. Tapping keyboard or clicking mouse gets you nowhere. Don't know what to do next.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if making a USB BIOS recovery drive allows you to restore the PC to operation.
Driver - HP Pavilion 590-p0019 | HP® Customer Support
Download and run the file on another PC.
It should only give you an option to create a BIOS recovery drive since presumably the PC is a different model.
After the recovery drive has been created, you should get a notification as such with the following instructions, which you should follow.
1. Power off the device to be recovered.
2. Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port.
3. Power on the device.
4. The device may reboot up to 3 times with indicator lights on the keyboard flashing, or the screen appearing blank for short time.
If that doesn't work, try making a BIOS recovery drive with the previous BIOS version.
