HP Omen 25L
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

I've had my HP Omen 25L since February 22, and it has been working really well, except for a issue where if I leave the computer on without activity it will go in to sleep mode and wont go back on without unplugging. I googled about this issue and there were tons of people who had it, and found a thread which had a vouched solution to find and execute a HP Firmware BIOS update. However when I did this and the computer automatically restarted, I no longer get any display signal output from the PC. I have 2 monitors plugged in and neither one gets signal even though the PC is turned on. The lights on the pc are on so i know it actually turns on, my keyboard lights up as normal etc. I've tried using different display ports but nothing helps.

If anyone can help me with this I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Hi

Did you do a manual BIOS update using the HP Driver download site for your PC or use HP Support assistant (HPSA)? HPSA BIOs updates may cause problems.

I would remove the second monitor. Next try all steps at this HP site to fix a bad BIOS update:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-p6-2300-desktop-pc-series/5295969/model/5296959/doc...

A bad BIOS update may require HP Service Center assistance to reprogram the BIOS or replace the motherboard.

You could also remove the discrete graphics card and try onboard graphics if you have this option. Most Intel processors have integrated graphics (Intel CPU processor "F" designations lack integrated graphics). AMD systems have integrated graphics if the processor has a "G" designation.
