HP ENVY DESKTOP 750 - 449
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, My HP ENVY DESKTOP 750 - 449 ID: X6F74AAR#ABL normally only activates on my display once it gets to the windows log in screen, but after setting it to boot into safe mode from msconfig, it no longer displays anything. I have the HDMI cord plugged into the gtx 960 and I've tried the mother board's display ports also and on two different monitors that had worked for it before I set it to boot into safe mode. I'm not sure if it's not displaying or just not booting up. I've tried to access bios by pressing esc, f2 ,f4, and del all to no avail. I have no clue why booting into safe mode would do this, so any help would be appreciated

@BakeryGoods The device uses the lowest resolution on safe mode and that seems to be causing the blackout, I suggest you update the graphics card and the BIOS using the HP website and check if that helps: Click here to find and install the same, if that doesn't do the trick, I suggest creating a new user account with admin privileges and check if that works fine.

P.S: Welcome to HP Forums! 😉
