OMEN X 27 Gaming Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey everyone! SO, I recently got an OMEN 880-169 pc with the OMEN X 27 inch gaming monitor. After setting it up I went to adjust the brightness of the screen since it is at 100%. However, the button on the back of the monitor that controls brightness is greyed out and I have no other way to change the brightness. Even many of the tabs under "Image" of the monitor menu are greyed out, from brightness to video level. I'm connected to my pc with the HDMI cable that was included in the box, and I don't believe I fiddled with any settings beforehand. It's a strange issue that I thought I could solve on my own, but after almost an hour of looking around the pc/monitor and looking online, I cannot seem to find anything that will "unlock" the brightness adjuster.

I understand that the Omen 27" monitor brightness is not adjustable.

Have you tried replacing the HDMI cable and checked?

Have you tried with a different monitor?
