OMEN X Ultra Wide Quad-HD (35") Curved LED Gaming Display

Hello everyone,

I bought the OMEN X Ultra Wide Quad-HD (35") Curved LED Gaming Display a little while ago and it have never been able to detect the video signal properly when starting up. I often have to run through a process of switching inputs from DisplayPort to HDMI and back again (or vice versa) before I can get an image. This process has been steadily getting more complicated recently where I have had to pull the power to the monitor before reconnecting and hoping it detects the input.

I experience the second and third options here from the KB:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00061509#aa590d59-2ab2-4a27-ad37-e280595e382f

But I can't seem to fix it.

The monitor is still under warranty for another month and I am considering returning it.

What should I do?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the monitor doesn’t detect the input signal.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Have you tested the monitor on a different computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the graphics driver on your computer and check whether the issue is resolved.

If you continue facing the issue, then download and install the monitor driver from the below link and test.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
