Omen 27 Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does anyone have a solution to the TERRIBLE sag the monitor develops almost immediately? I have been putting stuff behind the display to get a decent viewing angle for years but have gotten really sick of this. The monitors stand should be able to support itself and swapping over to a vesa mount won't solve the issue as the vesa converter connects to the same area. I'd like to not disassemble the entire display to tighten the assembly, but HP has the worst customer support in the world and won't let me contact anyone about the issue

1. Does the current monitor stand have a "tilt" feature that is too-well lubricated to hold its vertical position? Compare to sticks of raw spaghetti that "wilts" when dropped into a pot of boiling water.

2. Remove the current mount, and then connect a VESA-compatible monitor-arm.

3. [HP] won't let me contact anyone about the issue.

Really?  It's a good thing that volunteer contributors on this discussion forum are willing to help you.
