Hello, my name is Sameer. I ordered the HP 24mh FHD Monitor - Computer Monitor with 23.8-inch IPS Display (1080p) - Built-in Speakers and VE monitor about a year ago. It is a simple yet great monitor to get work done. It works perfectly fine, no issues at all. Today, the screw for the arm that attaches to the base for some reason got loose and the arm and screen itself fell and now there's a big spot on the top that is completely messed up. I got the monitor for around $109 when it first came out on Amazon, now it is around $229 with over 18k positive reviews. I know my warranty has expired, but I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to get any credit back or anything. I use the monitor for daily college use. Thank you.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand you experiencing an issue with the HP Monitor in order to fix this issue your Monitor needs to be repaired. With the standard one-year factory warranty, you will be covered for the repair or replacement of parts deemed defective. The warranty does not cover accidental damage, screen crack and liquid spillage.
