Pavilion 25bw

My Pavilion 25bw no longer works properly after an upgrade to Mojave on both of my MacBook Pros (using HDMI cables).

In short: The screen size is "too big" for the monitor. You can see about 85% of the screen from the center outwards, but the top, bottom, and sides are not displayed (they're "beyond" the monitor) and can't be displayed.

I have tried rescaling, changing the overscan, adusting the resolution, but nothing works.

Is there a patch or driver update that is in the works?

(I've got two of these Pavilion 25bw monitors, and I'd like to keep using them!)

@lindsd1111,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I would like to inform you that there are no drivers for the Mac operating system and HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors. To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac while the Mac is off, and then turn on the MAC. The monitor should operate at 60Hz. The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
