Pavillion 25xi Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

For about two weeks, my monitor's display sometimes will not turn on after sleep mode. The power light is on, and the situation can be remedied by unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in. Only happens intermittently as far as I can tell. Using GeForce GT 640 driver.

Welcome to the HP Support Community

Let's restore the monitor to factory settings, follow the below steps.

Step 1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall

Step 2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute

Step 3. Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)

Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor

Step 5. Navigate to the Factory Reset option and select it

Then update the Display driver, using this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-25-inch-displays/7274718/model/5304246

Restart the monitor.

Keep me posted, how it goes!
