Hi @Vernonjunior,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

A red screen on boot often points to a display driver issue or a hardware connection problem. Since rolling back the drivers isn't an option in the settings, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

Boot in Safe Mode:

  • Restart your PC and press F8 (or Shift + F8) during boot to enter the Advanced Boot Options.
  • Choose Safe Mode. This will load Windows with minimal drivers, which can help if a display driver is causing the issue.
  • Once in Safe Mode, go to Device Manager > Display adapters. Right-click your graphics driver, select Uninstall device, and restart your computer.

Update Display Drivers:

  • After uninstalling the driver in Safe Mode, restart the computer. It should load with a basic display driver.
  • Go to the HP Support website or the graphics card manufacturer’s site and download the latest display driver for your PC model.

Check Hardware Connections:

  • If you’re using a desktop PC, make sure the monitor cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA) is securely connected to both the monitor and the computer.
  • If possible, test with a different monitor or cable to rule out hardware issues.

Reset Display Settings (if accessible):

  • Open Settings > System > Display and try adjusting display settings, like the color profile, resolution, and refresh rate, to see if this resolves the red tint.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
