Frustrated with being unable to uninstall touch screen HID software for my HP Envy 27 all in one desktop. Went for a permanent hardware solution that finally worked.  It took me, an IT amateur, only half an hour to finish the job.

, remove the back cover by unscrewing two screws which has a rubber cover at bottom of the computer.

, push the backover up 1/2 inch and lift it.

, unscrew 6 screws of the inside cover and remove the cover.

, identify the cable labeled TS USB

, unplug it from the board and tug it away from potential pinch and crush points of hardwares. Reinstall all parts and screws in reverse order.
