Hey Stavrosv52,

Thank you for the Screenshot. I do need you to uninstall everything from your Audio drivers in device manager. Restart the computer.  It should install the driver automatically. If not I need to know what is the audio device name.

Thanks.

Hello again,

Prior to uninstalling the drivers, attached please find the screenshot of what I have at this moment. I assume you want me to uninstall the "digital audio" (under Audio Inputs and Outputs) and the "high definition Audio Deviece" (under Sound, Video and Game controllers). Am I right? (Do I have to uninstall the speakers' drivers also? The speakers are working just fine)

Thanks for all your effort!

I just did it. Uninstalled everything and restarted. The same drivers were installed again. The speakers are OK the in-line microphone shows as "not plugged".

Any other ideas? Don't tell me to buy a new PC :generic:

Already did that previously. The speakers are OK. Only the microphone has the problem.

That's OK. I won't do that just for the microphone. Too big project. Anyway, thank you very much for taking the time to deal with this issue.
