Product: HP 22vx IPS Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i want to buy HP 22vx IPS Monitor. I would like to know if it has a matte screen or glossy screen.  This is a very important deciding factor.

 

Here is a example of matte and gloss screen.

Monitor on left has glossy screen and monitor on right has matte screen.

 


Can you confirm whether HP 22vx IPS Monitor has a matte or glossy screen?

Hi James,

 

According to the specs for that model, the screen has an anti-glare finish (matte). If it was glossy, the finish would be called "brightview."

 

I totally understand the importance 🙂 glossy reflective screens drive me crazy personally. But it seems like there are just as many people who can't stand the matte finish, so, to each their own.
