My son cracked my HP ENVY 360x laptop. He cracked it on the right side you can't even tell its cracked.  However this supposed to be a laptop and a tablet. But I cannot use my mouse or nothing on the laptop for a crack you can't even see. I turned off the tablet settings but it doesn't work like a laptop. I don't have money to fix it right now and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice. At this point this laptop was a waste of my money.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand your HP notebook screen is damaged. A cracked screen leaves your computer touchscreen unresponsive for any touch inputs, in order to fix this issue replacing an LCD display is still a much better alternative.

As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
