Hello! I ran into an issue yesterday with my HP S340C display. I've had it for a few years now and it was working just fine but the pop up webcam wasn't functionable this entire time. I went to the firmware and drivers section of HP support and downloaded all the firmware and drivers available for the monitor shown on the HP support site which also included "HP Display Center software" After completing all of the updates, Firmware, Drivers and the display center tool,  my power buttons and my OSD menu buttons no longer work whatsoever?.

I looked around online and the only info I can  I can find out there was related power button or OSD button lockout only which would display a message on the screen and you can hold either button in for 10 seconds and unlock the power button or OSD button. However, this is not my issue. There's no message on screen saying there's a lockout for anything and holding in the buttons for 10 seconds or longer, doesn't do anything to the monitor or buttons? After a few hours of stress and frustration, I uninstalled the firmware, driver and display center updates that I installed to try to go back to how my monitor was working prior to messing with any of these updates and the power button as OSD button still aren't working? This morning  I re-installed the firmware only so far and it asked me to connect via USB in order to complete the update. After about 10-15 minutes, the installation of this firmware has completed and now there's a pop up box stating the following  "Please detach/re-attach the HP S340C USB-Cable and power adapter"? My questions here is...Do I need to disconnect the actual power adapter from the wall to the display as well as the USB cable that I connected in order to complete this update?  I'm afraid to unplug the power adapter from the monitor since the power button isn't working and I fear I may not be able to power the monitor back on again? If any can offer guidance or has experience with this, your help would be greatly appreciated?
