Solved!

Running a duplicate screen

HP Recommended
Pavilion 24-b010a
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am trying to duplicate my HP 2in1 Elite X1 laptop to my HP Pavilion 24-b010a desktop.
I have purchased an adaptor that plugs into the laptop and is connected to the desktop via HDMI.
Once connected I am getting nothing from the desktop.
Can someone help please.

I have since been advised that the HDMI port on this model HP is an output port. A little disappointing to be honest.

Hello
if i understood correctly you would like to connect your laptop in order to have the display on the other computer?
Does it say somewhere that you have an HDMI input, not an output?
I looked at some documents, and contrary to several models it is not specified, it is just mentioned HDMI!

24-b010a (Touch) (ENERGY STAR) PC Product Specifications

Motherboard Specifications, Samui-A9

DOnc if it is an HDMI output in order to connect another screen it cannot work!
If it is an entry, there is often a manipulation to do, I did not have time to look at all the links, but otherwise there is  documents for other models
