Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

THe background color on my screen has been changed to black. How do I get it back to its origanl color - White i presume.Thank you.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • Have you tried with an external monitor?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
  • Have you checked if the screen flickers in the Bios?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps: 

  1. Turn on your notebook, as it is starting press the  F10 button repeatedly
  2. If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS) 
  3. This would confirm if it's either a hardware failure.
