Hello Deep110,

Thank you for posting your concern,

Troubleshooting Steps for Screen Blinking

  1. Check for Loose Connections:

    • Ensure that all cables and connectors, if using external displays, are securely connected.
  2. Update Display Drivers:

    • Go to the HP Support site and enter your product details.
    • Download and install the latest graphics drivers available for your model.
  3. Adjust Display Settings:

    • Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
    • Ensure the display resolution and refresh rate are set correctly according to your monitor's specifications.
  4. Check for Software Conflicts:

    • Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
    • Check if any specific application is causing high CPU usage during the screen blink. Close unnecessary applications.
  5. Perform System Updates:

    • Make sure your Windows operating system is up to date with the latest patches and updates.
  6. Safe Mode Check:

    • Boot your computer in Safe Mode to see if the screen blinking persists. If it doesn't, a third-party application might be causing the issue.
    • To enter Safe Mode: Restart your computer and press F8 for boot options, then select "Safe Mode."
  7. Run Hardware Diagnostics:

    • Use the built-in hardware diagnostics tool to check for potential hardware issues. This can often be accessed by pressing F2 during startup.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, it might be due to a hardware problem with the display itself or internal connections. In this case, contacting HP Support or visiting an authorized service center would be the next best step.
