Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0073cl

2 years ago, the touch screen for my HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eg0073cl broke, I had gone to a store to get it fixed, and it got fixed but switched it was switched to a regular screen. It worked for like a year, but around last year it stopped working again, I found out that the screen brightness isn't working, but I am still able to use it by connecting it to an external display. I was wondeing if there is something I should be lokig to download to try and fix the issue?
