HP X24ih Gaming Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Got this monitor last month. Every so often (every couple of days so far) the top of the screen will flicker, as if the brightness is dimming in that area, for a couple seconds or so. It's not a black line, it's just a dimming that happens at the top. This happens at random, whether there's a game being played or just when Chrome is open.

I've tried 2 different DisplayPort cables and different nVidia driver versions, the problem remains.

Is there a possible fix I can do myself, or is there any hope that HP can repair / refund me?

Any new HP device comes with a 12-month HP Warranty, where HP Support will repair/replace your monitor, at HP's expense.  So, contact HP Support, and open a "case" (as HP calls it) against the warranty.

I doubt that you will get a refund.
