Microsoft Windows 11

My laptop's screen is flickering when comming back from sleep mode. It is ok after a reboot.

I've tried following (following this old post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Video-Display-and-Touch/Flashing-screen-problem-after-wake-fro...😞

- using hp assistant do all available upgrade including firmware

- using hp assistant launch system check => all is ok

- using MS update do all available updates

- I did also a system check (F2 key during boot)

- I removed the display adapter from device manager + reboot

Note that the issue started on windows 10, I did some week ago the upgrade to windows 11 but this didn't help

The issue is still present, thx for your help

@oxygen77 -- try again within Device Manager. Double-click on the device, and see if there is a "power" tab. If there is, then disable the setting "allow Windows to turn off this device to save power".

This might help.  Sometimes, free advice is worth only what you paid for it.   🙂

thank you for the hint, there is no power tab for this device

following your idea I've also go thru the advanced power settings of windows. I can see that

- graphic card has some performance setting (high/middle/low) that can be set depending on the power mode

- display has a setting to turn it off after nn minutes depending on the power mode

Node sure that this wuold change anything for the issue
