Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have Hp pavilion AU003TX laptop bought in 2017. I am facing a few issues recently.

1. The screen keeps scrolling up or down in its own, or sometimes when i try scrolling it with the touchpad its simply doesn't scroll.

2. The desktop icons get selected on its own. And if i double click on browser, the My PC icon opens up.

3. On firefox browser, the search bar keeps on scrolling up and down on the below suggestions on its own without me touching the mouse.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's uninstall and reinstall the touchpad driver:

1) Right click on the start or Windows icon and open the "Device Manager".

2) Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices".

3) Right click TouchPad and then click on uninstall and restart the computer.

and update the PC:

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
