Screen HP Pavilion 23xi (23inch) IPS LED- Blacklit Monitor
Linux

Hi HP community,

below is a foto of my HP Pavilion 23xi screen as external monitor, which shows a totally scrambled mirror image of my Linux Mint Desktop GUI, which is not readable or usable. The external monitor was connected via HDMI cable, which was working fine with other monitors, which indicates a hardware fault of the screen. Is there any chance that this type of fault of the screen can be repaired for a reasonable amount of money (<75 Euros, New price: about 150-200Euros), or should I just give the screen to the recycling station? Any upcycling ideas (eg book stand)?

Best, Will
