HP E34m G4 WQHD Curved USB-C Conferencing Monitor

I'm using a Macbook Air M2 and the USB-C cable supplied with the screen. MacOS Sonoma Version 14.1.1 (23B81).

The software for the monitor is installed > HP Display Center for Mac 2.1.7.0 Rev.A.

I've tried using both USB-C outputs from my Mac.

The monitor is completely new, and has been used for 2 days. The isse has been there from the beginning.

The issue is that a sparkling/crackling noise come from the speakers built in to the monitor. I've tried several sound sources like video calls, Spotify-web and other web-media. The level of the sound is quite low, but it appears in a non-consistent pattern as it comes ang goes. It does only appear when something is playing or if I am in a conference call.
