I’ve tried resetting my laptop but it hasn’t worked. The area that’s glitched doesn’t interfere with me clicking anything on it, but it does bother me. I’m not sure what it is but it seems like the display is stuck on what it was last on.

This is not good, check your warranty

Possibly the wrong driver was install or much less likely a firmware updates will fix the problem

I assume this is an HP laptop and not a Mac.

Can you provide the product id and model name?

Yes, it’s an HP laptop.

The product ID is 00325-80502-42769-AAOEM

Model: m3-u001dx

There actually are several firmware release for the touch screen.  You  may have to try both of them as I do not know if you have HD or FHD screen

To be safe you should enable remote desktop on your laptop to be able to access it from another computer in case the screen goes out completely

You might also verify you have the June 2020 bios

Did this problem show up after a recent Microsoft update?

After a power glitch or system falling hard on floor?

No, this problem showed up last night. My laptop was on my desk the entire day so it couldn’t have been dropped.
