HP M24f FHD Monitor
macOS 12.0 Monterey

When my desktop wakes up, my screen is bright green.  Turning it off and back on solves the problem.  It does the same with a second computer and the monitor is only 7 days old.  My previous monitor did the same thing.

@AndyPSE -- there are 3 "primary" colours. Add them together, in equal parts, to get "white".

Add only two of them, with nothing from the third, and you could get "green", or you could get "pink".

Be sure that the video-cable is tightly-connected to the monitor and to the computer.

Try a different video-cable between your monitor and your computer.

Try connecting the monitor to a different computer.

Given that it is only 2 days old, take it back to the store that sold it to you, and exchange it, if they cannot prove that it works properly when connected to one of their computers.

If you bought a new automobile, there is no expectation that you will have to fix any initial problems with the vehicle.

The same "warranty" applies to HP products.

Yes, I've had that as a "normal" thing too. But turning off and then back on the monitor makes no difference now. Neither does changing to a different monitor. Neither does a new video cable. That's why I think it's the integrated video chip.

@bkbakers -- do you have a notebook computer (or have access to one) ? Connect your new monitor to that computer, to see if the monitor works at all.  This would avoid returning the monitor to the retail store.
