HP t630 Thin Client
Linux

Both monitors are displaying the Thinpro OS but when I run Microsoft AVD it only displays on one monitor. Using recommended setting in the AVD Options of "Full Desktop" BIOS M40_0112 ThinPro 7.2 SP9  AVD Client 2022.02.07hp1a

I found the issue. The AVD client does extend to both monitors, but only if they are set with equal resolutions in ThinPro control panel. I have now tested this on multiple T630 and T640 thin clients. Possibly a limitation of the open-source avd add-on being used with ThinPro 7.2  It is a disappointment because the Windows version client seems to work without that limitation.

Hello @Tkmat ,

I tested the AVD client on ThinPro 7.2 and could not find any settings that could be modified from ThinPro OS. There are a few settings that we can edit, that is only through registry and does not deal with the number of monitors that are connected for AVD. I did find the solution on Microsoft where they have mentioned on how to allow multi monitor setup. Hope it helps:

Thanks for your reply. Note the Window Size setting in the Window section. It notes that the AVD session will go to all displays if set for Full-Desktop. This is how we set it. All T630's are using the same image but some work fine and others are not allowing the AVD session to extend to both screens. Since this is not exclusive I will probably just have to replace the bad ones or try yet another reimaging.
