I have a TouchSmart 300-1020. i got it used. when i first got it the touchscreent worked perfectly. i had to put it in storage for a few months. during that time the original to me hdd that was in the pc has become unaccounted for. I have installed A 256GB 2.5' SSD and 12gb of sodimm ddr3 ram. I know i am not the as knowledgable of computers but i do possess what i like to think is more than the average pc user. That said, i cannnot for the life of me figure out why the touch screen on this device just will not work. Setting/System/About shows it is pen and touch capable and there seems to be drivers for the touchscreen installed. Any help with this is greatly appreciated. I intend to donate this pc to a friend who has suffered a stroke. He has a hard time with a keyboard and a touchscreen and onscreen keyboard seem to work well enough for him. Neither one of us can afford new and/or purpose built pc's. This as of right now is the only option for my friend. Thanks.
