Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9X9AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

How do I turn on the keyboard  light for the HP Laptop 15-dy5xxx. I tried the fn keys, in addition to a few other ways but, no good.

What is your machine ? Does it have a backlit symbol banhien_0-1718510010457.jpegbanhien_0-1718510010457.jpeg on F4 or F5 (or any F key). If NOT, your machine does NOT have a backlit keyboard.

No it doesn't. I was hoping its was just a manufacturing error. I just bought this new laptop. I can't believe it doesn't have a keyboard light.
