My U28 monitor sometimes does not receive any USB-C input signal. It could either be after
a) I let the computer go to sleep; or
b) I switch from using the monitor only to using the monitor and the laptop screen at the same time.
If I unplug the monitor when it is on (thereby rebooting it), the signal comes back, but all the previously saved settings (such as the macOS resolution and zooming settings) are gone.
Is there another way around this?
FYI:
1) I'm using a 13 inch MacBook Pro late 2018 model that runs macOS Big Sur.
2) I could not find this product on the product support page and could not locate my warranty through virtual agent, despite having the serial number and product number. I guess it's because the product is fairly new.
3) I could not find macOS Big Sur in the "operating system" dropdown menu when I composed this post. Could you please fix this.

I have the same issue with a Macbook Pro 2016. I have 2 U28's but only 1 works now, the other doesn't see a signal.
I tried using both USB-C cables but only 1 work turn on...I switched the other to a DP to USBC cable I had and got it working, but after going to sleep and returning, only the USB-C monitor comes on. Very annoying.
I suspect it has to do with these monitors only supporting DP 1.2 ...
