Hi! I changed the refresh rate to 30 Hz but now it won't change back to 60 Hz. I am using usb type-c and have tried factory resetting the monitor, changing it on advanced settings MacBook, change it on 'USB-C Configuration' on my monitor, but whatever I do it says the current mode is 30 Hz, what to do?

I have the HP U28 4K HDR Monitor (1Z980AA), and I have it connected to a MacBook Pro

@jim545 -- whatever I do it says the current mode is 30 Hz, what to do?

Is it the Mac that is showing the current status of the video-adapter, or is the OSD ("On Screen Display") of the monitor (when not connected to any video-cable) that is saying that?

Can you connect the monitor to a different desktop/notebook computer, and see what it says?
